Finishing Associate

CTL Amedica is an ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered Medical Device Company with offices in Carrollton, Texas. CTL designs, manufactures and distributes medical device products and systems for spinal surgeons; specifically implants and devices.

The Finishing associate will perform functions required before parts go through final inspection and move into inventory.  These functions include but are not limited to Deburr, Visual Inspection, Count Verification, Cleaning, Passivation, Anodization, Laser Marking, Assembly, etc.  This role will be heavily rooted in ensuring CTL Amedica provides the best Quality Product to the Spinal Surgery Market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Laser Mark parts as directed
• Assemble sub-components as directed
• Verify count, part number, and revision of subcomponents against the Traveler
• Determine part features that are not within specifications
• Devise best method for burr removal or finishing
• Implement method to deburr/finish
• Clean/Passivate parts as required
• Maintain all paperwork associated with Traveler
• Inspect parts to drawing/specification using various measuring devices
• Daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe operating area
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with production environment
• Experience with processes such as Laser Marking, Deburr, Cleaning, Passivation, etc.
• Able to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Able to use small hand tools effectively (i.e. Xacto knife)
• Able to use Microscope for extended periods of time
• Impeccable time management skills

Required Education Level:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Status:

• On Site, Full Time, Monday through Friday, Day Shift.
